Tonight we explore the mysterious world of the Cynocephaly: The Dog Head Men! Could such a tribe of dog-headed men actually have existed? It seems ridiculous...but a variety of ancient, medieval, and renaissance texts mention them as quite real beings!

Tonight we'll learn all about the dog head men. How they lived, ate, and got along with others. Descriptions vary over time, but especially in the early accounts, a lot of things line up. There may even be a saint with a dog head!!! We'll also learn possible origin tales for such "people" and ponder if they may still be around today.

This is a strange one, Spookaroos. Eric invited Fatima Elmi over to watch the internet cartoon Salad Fingers with him. She'd never heard of it, but it was very popular in its day. People wondered what it was...and why it was. Spoiler alert: Fatima doesn't care for it and seems legit mad at Eric for making her watch it.

In short, Salad Fingers is a green humanoid creature who seems to enjoy pain as well as touching and licking things. He lives alone, but populates his lonely world with characters of his own creation...or does he? Always strong and occasionally disturbing, Salad fingers has attracted a cult audience as well as some haters.

Salad Fingers was created by British animator David Firth. He released the series in segments over the course of about 9 years. He hasn't released a new episode since 2014, but last November, he announced he's working on Salad Fingers again.

Eric is keeping it short and sweet this week. All killer no filler as he dives right into the true story of Chicago's most famous ghost, Resurrection Mary! For almost a century, a young blonde has been asking travelers along Archer Road for a ride home. But there is more to this young woman than meets the eye. In fact, she's not a young woman at all...but a ghost!

Allegedly, the real Resurrection Mary was killed coming home from a dance hall and now she wanders around the cemetery just trying to finally make it home. There's no doubt that Resurrection Mary has become a well established ghost story/modern myth...but does it have any basis in reality? Ws there really a Mary who died in such a way and who is buried in Resurrection Cemetery? And if the ghost really does exists, what does she want?

All the and more will be discussed on tonight's episode of Spooky A S

Eric is back from Disney World and, by listener request, is doing another Disney-themed episode. This time he's going off the beaten spooky track to tell you about a different kind of horror: the all too real horrors of drug addiction! This is the story of Disney's Peter Pan, Bobby Driscoll.

Bobby Driscoll seemed to be living a charmed life. He was the first actor ever signed to a long term contract with Disney Studios and starred in memorable Disney films like Song of the South and Treasure Island. Of course, most famously, he provided the voice for Peter Pan in Disney's hit animated film. But as soon as Peter Pan was released, Bobby was dropped by Disney and his life and career took a dramatic turn for the worse.

The next several years of his life would be full of drug abuse, failed marriages, and numerous arrests. But how would the story end? Would Bobby somehow turn his life around and live to see how beloved his films have become, or would he end up dying penniless and alone at a young age?

A lot of information for tonight's episode was found on www.bobbydriscoll.net
