With the announcement of the closure of both The Big Apple Circus and Ringling Bros & Barnum and Bailey Greatest Show on Earth circus, and in the wake of the 2016 Creepy Clown sightings, Eric Dwinnells and guest co-host Jennie "Blades" Lecesse are going to discus clowns. Why are people (allegedly) afraid of clowns and where did this for come from? Eric has a theory and it involves serial killers and after school specials! Plus, we'll hear from a real-deal professional circus clown (Jessi Wonderfool) to get her opinion on the fear clowns.

Specifically, we'll discuss:
John Wayne Gacy
The 1981 Phantom Clown Scare
Stephen King's IT
The Northampton Clown
DM Pranks
The Rosehill Cemetery Clown video
The world-wide 2016 clown sightings/pranks and the aftermath

Plus Eric defends the good, honest, hardworking clowns from the street to the big top! All this and more on tonight's Spooky A S!

There's an escaped convict on the lose IRL and he was trying to break into a home in host Eric Dwinnells' neighborhood! Guest Tom Cole is back to help Eric process this event and give un update on the fugitive. But this got Eric thinking: escaped convicts/mental patients are a common trope in horror films and urban legends, but what happens in the real world?

Tonight, we're going to look at two different prison breaks and their very different outcomes. First we'll discuss the very recent breakout masterminded by alleged vicious criminal Hossein Nayeri. Then we'll discuss the escape of infamous serial killer Ted Bundy and the truly horrifying crimes he committed while eluding the police.

We'll also discuss Eric's New Year's Eve and how he and Tom might attempt to breakout of prison. All this and more on tonight's Spooky A S!

Happy New Year? We'll see! Tonight, inspired by people hating on 2016, host Eric Dwinnells takes a look at the fear of numbers aka numerophobia aka arithmophobia! Of course, that's just the fear of numbers in general, but what about the fear of the numbers 4 (tetraphobia), 13 (Triskaidekaphobia), the 23 enigma, the curse of 39, or fear of 666?

Where did these ideas come from? What makes these numbers so scary? How can we free ourselves of these fears? The answers will lead us to discuss things like

Judas at the last supper

Loki, the bummer of a dinner guest

asian languages

William s. Burroughs

Jim Carrey

shady business practices

Pimping

The Omen

The Beast of Revelation and the end of the world

Plus find out what Jack the Ripper, Charles Manson, Jeffery Dammer and Eric Dwinnells all have in common!
